2007 Christmas Party
SATURDAY 8TH DECEMBER 2007
A BIG THANK YOU to all those who braved the horrible weather and attended the H.S.F.C. Christmas Party on Saturday 8th December, I think we all had a good time. I really hope the children enjoy their hats and scarves and look forward to seeing them being worn out and about. Congratulations to all the raffle winners thanks to all of you for your generosity. I look forward to seeing you all in 2008 and may I take this chance to wish each one of you a very Happy Christmas and the very best of luck for 2008.

Highdown Saints are pleased to announce the first ‘Masters Golf Day’ for parents, sponsors and supporters of our Club. This will be like no ordinary golf day but the premier golf event of the year that even Tiger would like to play in… but he can’t! Playing at the picturesque yet challenging Littlehampton Golf Club your day will begin with coffee and bacon rolls on arrival. Whilst the clubs' managers are fighting over the bacon rolls you will be able to view and drool over the many exciting prizes which have been supplied by our Golf Day main sponsors American Golf. We have over £1000 worth of quality prizes. Each player will receive their “goody bag” as we make our way to our first challenge which is to find our Masters Putting Champion for the day. This contest will take place on the practice putting green with the worthy winner receiving a brand new Wilson Deep Red 2 putter. The main “masters” championship will be contested over 18 holes in a Stableford competition with the first players teeing off at 11o’clock. During your round there will be other great prizes supplied by other Golf Day sponsors for you to win! Several "nearest the pin" and a special “Beat the Pro” hole. Our order for sunshine WILL happen, so to cool you off there will be no need to put one in the water as there will be complimentary on-course refreshments. On arrival at the 19th we will have a buffet upstairs in the committee room followed by the presentation of our stunning prizes and the crowning of our first Masters Champion.
Thanks to our sponsors, we will only charge £45 for the day. Payment must be made in full when booking your place. Places are initially limited to HSFC members, parents, coaches, committee and sponsors. We cannot accept bookings for guests at this stage. Entry forms will be available on May 26th.
This will be possibly the best value golf day ever, especially considering the prizes below so.... on the day we will be holding a prize draw for a Yonex driver, signed by their staff player, Colin Montgomery. Other prizes include a Yonex visor also signed by Colin and other golf goodies. Tickets £5 each so bring your wallet. All proceeds will go to Paul Sanderson OBE for his work in Ethiopia later this year. More detail of this at the presentation night.
Jacket & Tie will be required in the Club House and suitable golf apparel on course.

  The Social calendar is filling up. The committee has put a lot of effort and time into organising fun events for both parents and players. The events are necessary to raise funds to pay for the summer tournaments and training equipment so your support is needed. The Club Presentation Night will be at LCS School on Saturday 30th June. Finally we will have our Summer Fun Day at St. Catherine's on Saturday 14th July in the afternoon. We have changed from Fridays to Saturdays due to popular demand. Please come along and join in the fun!!
