Sussex FA Fair Play award for 2006/07 U9C(December 08, 2007)The Sussex FA have awarded the U9C team for 2006/07 their "Fair Play Male Youth Team" award. This is a marvelous achievement by the players and supporters as it has been voted on by all the teams they played during the season. We were honoured that Nigel Williams of Sussex FA was able to attend our Christmas party and present the awards to the boys in front of the club.
Well done, boys!
The following extracts are from the Sussex County FA letter:
"Every year The FA in London provide a Fair Play Award Scheme for a Male Youth Team and a Female Youth Team....
"I am very pleased to let you know that your Under 9C Team from last season has been chosen for this award ...
"We had a look through the Disciplinary Records of all our male Youth Clubs and in conjunction with information received from the Arun & Chichester Youth Football League came to the decision that your U9C Team should receive this award.
