On Sunday 19th March 2006 Highdown Saints Under 9A lifted the Challenge Cup.

The lads had to do it the hard way and defeat 4 'A' league sides to get their hands on the cup.  It was a great match and credit must also go to Worthing United B who gave us a real game as did Worthing United A in the semi-final.  The match had to go to extra time and Will scored the only goal in the second half of extra time.  The army of Highdown fans played their part to roar the boys on and created a fantastic atmosphere and a great experience for all the team.  Spurred on by this success the under 9A's went on to win the Arun & Chichester Youth Football League Division B.
